She also spoke on the need of protecting it.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>12\/ 06\/ 19 \u2013 World Day Against Child Labour: <\/strong>Teacher along with the students of Std III put forth the importance of development of children. She focused on the theme \u201cChildren shouldn\u2019t work in fields but on dreams\u201d to make them aware of the underprivileged children all over the world being exploited.<\/li>\n<li><strong>13\/ 06\/ 19 \u2013 Feast of St. Anthony: <\/strong>A prayer service was conducted by the TICCAS as a part of the celebration of the feast.<\/li>\n<li><strong>14\/ 06\/ 19 \u2013 Father\u2019s Day: <\/strong>Teacher spoke to the students on the importance of a father in our life. She said that a child needs a dad as much as a mother. She also told them what sacrifices a father does for his family. An activity was organized where students made cards for their fathers.<\/li>\n<li><strong>21\/ 06\/ 19 \u2013 International Yoga Day: <\/strong>Teacher highlighted the importance of practicing yoga and how it benefits one\u2019s health. She also taught students a few simple asanas. She encouraged them to practice yoga daily.<\/li>\n<li><strong>22\/ 06\/ 19 \u2013 Inaugural Mass: <\/strong>the Inaugural Mass for the academic year 2019 -20 was held on the theme for the year \u201cGo and Do Likewise\u201d. The meaning of the theme was explained to the students in detail.<\/li>\n<li><strong>24\/ 06\/ 19 \u2013 Feast of St. John the Baptist: <\/strong><strong>\u00a0<\/strong>The TICCAS informed the students the importance of this day in the Catholic Church and the tradition being followed in Goa. A kopel competition was held for the students wherein all participated with great joy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Winners<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0\u00a0 <\/strong>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 1st place\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 2nd place\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 3rd place<\/p>\n<p>Std I\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Anselhem Michael Dias Ethan X. Couthino\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Caine Miranda\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Shanaida E.
