{"id":1749,"date":"2021-04-01T18:08:39","date_gmt":"2021-04-01T12:38:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.stsebastianaquem.com\/web\/?p=1749"},"modified":"2021-04-01T18:08:39","modified_gmt":"2021-04-01T12:38:39","slug":"the-resurrection-of-our-lord","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.stsebastianaquem.com\/web\/the-resurrection-of-our-lord\/","title":{"rendered":"The Resurrection of our Lord"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Jesus came to this earth<\/p>\n<p>To show us how to live.<\/p>\n<p>How to put others first<\/p>\n<p>How to love and how to give.<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p>He set about His work<\/p>\n<p>That God sent Him to do.<\/p>\n<p>He took our punishment on Himself<\/p>\n<p>And made us clean and new.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>He could have saved Himself<\/p>\n<p>Calling angels from above.<\/p>\n<p>But He chose to pay the price for our sin<\/p>\n<p>He paid it out of love.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Our Lord died on Good Friday<\/p>\n<p>But the cross did not destroy.<\/p>\n<p>His resurrection on Easter morning<\/p>\n<p>Fills our hearts with joy.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>We know our earthly death<\/p>\n<p>Like His is just a rest.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll be forever with Him<\/p>\n<p>In heaven where life is best.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>So we live our lives for Jesus<\/p>\n<p>Think of Him in all that we do.<\/p>\n<p>Thank You Saviour;<\/p>\n<p>Thank You Lord.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Melissa Fernandes<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ward 12<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Jesus came to this earth To show us how to live.
