Opening Prayer: <\/strong>The meeting began with a prayer led by SCC 9 and SCC 10, invoking God’s guidance and blessings on the meeting and all those present.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Welcome Address: <\/strong>The moderator welcomed all the members on behalf of the Parish Priest and the Executive Committee and thanked everyone for their presence and continued support in parish activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Reading and Confirmation of Previous Minutes: <\/strong>The Secretary presented the minutes of the previous PPC meeting which was passed by the  house approved and seconded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Duties for Church Workers: <\/strong>The allocation of duties for church workers was discussed to ensure the proper upkeep of the church and the smooth conduct of liturgical celebrations. Responsibilities such as maintaining the cleanliness of the church, cemetery ,washing and ironing altar linens and vestments, capes and other liturgical garments etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

Pastors’ Day Celebration: <\/strong>The celebration of Pastors’ Day was discussed. The main Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 02\/08\/2026 at 8:00 a.m., followed by a short cultural programme at 11:00 a.m. Cake will be distributed  after each Mass as a gesture of thanksgiving and fellowship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Grandparents’ Day: <\/strong>As part of the Grandparents’ Day celebrations, Parish  Pastoral Council, Catechist, Youth and Legion of Mary will visit the Old Age Home at Chandor to spend time with the elderly, offer companionship, and share moments of joy and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Projection Ministry: <\/strong>The Vice-Moderator requested all members to identify and submit the names of interested persons from their SCCs who are willing to assist with the projection of the liturgy and hymns during Mass. Those selected will receive the necessary training and guidance..<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Message from the President (Parish Priest) \u2013 Rev. Fr. Ubaldo Fernandes<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rev. Fr. Ubaldo Fernandes reflected on the theme “Abide in Me”, reminding everyone that many good things happen when we work together in unity. He appreciated the valuable suggestions received from the PPC and Cofre members, which have already brought about many positive changes in the Parish. Using the example of a bundle of sticks, he explained that while a single stick can be broken easily, a bundle is difficult to break, highlighting the strength that comes from unity. He encouraged everyone to continue doing their best for the parish, to pray before making every decision, to work together and take decisions collectively. He concluded by reminding everyone that God is our true missionary leader and urged all to cultivate a forgiving and compassionate heart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meeting ended with the prayers by SCC 9 and 10  followed by the blessing of the Parish Priest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
