Praising and thanking the Lord our God, we, the Manager, Rev. Fr. Ubaldo Fernandes, Administrator Mrs. Cassie D’Souza, the teaching and non-teaching staff, and our beloved students, began the new academic year 2026-27 on 6th June 2026.
A warm welcome was extended to all students as the school premises were beautifully decorated with balloons and charts. A hearty welcome was also accorded to our new Manager, Rev. Fr. Ubaldo Fernandes, and our new Administrator, Mrs. Cassie D’Souza.
The following activities were conducted during the month of June for month of June:
1) Delight with Colours
A colouring activity was conducted for students of Classes I to V on 8th June 2026 in celebration of World Environment Day. The children were given printed outlines based on nature and were encouraged to colour them neatly and creatively. Young learners used bright colours to bring eco-friendly themes to life, discovering the importance of environmental conservation in a fun and creative way.
2) International Yoga Day
Yoga Day was celebrated for students of Classes I to V on 20th June 2026. All the children participated wholeheartedly in the session. The teachers highlighted the importance of yoga, various asanas, and deep-breathing techniques. They explained the numerous benefits of regular yoga practice, including improved memory, enhanced immunity, increased flexibility and strength, better emotional regulation, greater body awareness and confidence, the development of healthy habits, and relaxation. The students enthusiastically learned and practiced different yoga postures, making the session both enjoyable and beneficial.
The children learned and demonstrated various yoga asanas such as Vrikshasana (Tree Pose) and Tadasana (Mountain Pose) with great enthusiasm.
The session served as a reminder that yoga is an excellent practice for the overall health and well-being of growing children.
