In this world, all of us walk along different paths, having different ideas, trying to achieve something or the other. Along our journey, opportunities are abundant in our lives, presenting themselves in various forms and promising us growth, success and fulfilment. However, many a times, despite the amount of opportunities that are presented to us, many people, specially the younger generation, miss out on seizing them, simply because we do not truly see what is right in front of our eyes, but go searching elsewhere. When we are too impatient, at times, we let people deceive and mislead us, and in such a situation we make impulsive and foolish decisions which we regret at a later date. We need to realise that the most significant rewards come to those who don’t rush into making wrong decisions and are willing to practice patience and mindfulness. It is always important that we keep away ill advisers and be prudent in our decision making. We all need to discern well before we act. It is advisable not to attempt anything without having complete information. It is said, “Half education is not only dangerous but destructive as well.” A word is enough for the wise, isn’t it?
I am reminded of a story wherein an aeroplane cleaner whilst cleaning the Pilot’s cockpit, saw a Book, titled,” How to fly an aeroplane—for beginners “(Volume I).He opened the first page which said,” to start the engine, press the red button “..he did so and the aeroplane engine started. Happily he opened the second page that said “to get the airplane moving, press the blue button “…he did so and the plane started moving at an amazing speed…he got so excited that he wanted to fly, so he opened the third page of the book which said,” to let the airplane fly, please press the green button…”…he hastily did so and the plane started to fly…WOW…he was in seven heavens and kept flying for twenty minutes. Feeling satisfied, he now wanted to land, so he decided to open the fourth page and the fourth page says,” to be able to know how to land a plane, please purchase Volume 2,at the nearest Bookstore. “Funny, right?…but many a times we too end up in such disasters and in the bargain, ruin our lives. Let us be cautious in our approach, avoid hasty decisions and always look out for good opportunities that come our way. This will surely make our lives happy and successful.. Until we meet again, please stay safe and take care..
