“Jesus said, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never go hungry.’” – John 6:35
The children began their faith preparation in June, learning prayers and attending catechism classes every Sunday. Their journey was guided by dedicated catechists, with the parents also taking great initiative in supporting their faith formation.
During the preparation classes, Fr. Agnelo, along with the catechists, provided valuable lessons to help the children understand the true meaning of Holy Communion. On February 16th, they received the Sacrament of Reconciliation, preparing their hearts for the special day.
On February 19th, 22 children joyfully received the Body and Blood of Christ for the first time. Dressed beautifully, they sang a heartfelt thanksgiving song, adding to the solemnity of the occasion. The church was wonderfully decorated, and everything went smoothly, making the day a truly memorable one for the children and their families.
