St. Sebastian School – Activities held for the month of October & November 2019

  1. Nutrition week.

Nutrition week was observed in the school where nutritious and tasty food items were made by Teachers and served to the students during the week.

  1. Handwriting Olympiad

Handwriting Olympiad competition was held on 4th October 2019 in school. It was organized by G. Suns Foundation to improve the Handwriting of the students.

  1. Talk on Rabies

A talk on rabies by Mission Rabies was organized for the primary students about the meaning of rabies, its symptoms and preventive measures.

  1. Gandhi Jayanthi

Gandhi Jayanthi was celebrated on 1st October 2019 in memory of the great leader Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation for his valuable thoughts and vision for the country.

  1. Wildlife activity

The Wildlife programme was celebrated on8th October 2019. It was an environment and Wildlife awareness programme and the aim of this activity was to conserve our national wealth.

  1. Festival of Diwali

Diwali. – Festival of lights was celebrated on 23th October 2019. This Festival Marks the victory of good over evil.  The students were told to celebrate the festival in peace and harmony and that they should reduce the use of fireworks as it causes pollution.

  1. Children’s day celebration

Children’s day was celebrated on 14th November 2019 with a beautiful prayer service and a wonderful programme performed by the teachers for their loving students. It also remembered our great leader Jawaharlal Nehru, the first prime minister of India who celebrates his birthday on 14th November and also loved Children.
