Whatever you do, do it with love, as service to the Lord and not to men. Colossians 3:23
As I complete my term as the President of the Catechetical Association, I do so with a heart full of gratitude, beautiful memories, and immense joy for having had the opportunity to serve this wonderful parish family.
This journey would never have been possible without the guidance and encouragement of many people who stood beside us throughout this catechetical year.
A heartfelt thank you to Fr. Simpliciano N. Fernandes for constantly guiding, motivating, and inspiring us in every step of our journey. Your support and encouragement helped us move forward with faith and confidence. I would also like to sincerely thank Fr. Anil Kumar, who was there with us at the beginning of this catechetical year and supported the association during its early journey. To my dear catechists, thank you for always being my greatest support system. Without your cooperation, dedication, sacrifices, and teamwork, this journey would never have been easy. Every programme, activity, and achievement was possible because we walked together as one family in Christ.
To all the members of our parish who helped and supported our association throughout the year, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Many of you played your role quietly behind the scenes, without recognition, yet your contribution meant so much to us. May God bless each one of you abundantly. A special word of thanks to our Youth, who were always our better half, always ready to collaborate, support, and journey with us without hesitation. It has truly been a pleasure working alongside such energetic and committed young people.
I also extend my sincere gratitude to the PPC and all the other associations for your constant support and willingness to help us in every way possible whenever needed.
As this chapter of serving as President comes to an end, I carry with me countless memories, lessons, laughter, and moments of faith that I will always treasure deeply. This may be the end of my role as President, but not the bond we share as one catechetical family. May we continue to walk hand in hand, united in faith, love, and service for the glory of God and always stand together for the love of Christ.
With a grateful heart,
Signing off as the President,
Savion Fernandes
