2018 was an eventful year to all of us, be in all fronts. We have many incidents to narrate of these 365 days. To begin with, we ushered in a new year 2018 and then on we have so many incidents that have happened in our lives, may be with our families, may be at workplace, with friends or even in our Church. We had many activities planned for our parishioners. Many Parishioners participated, whilst many lost an opportunity. All who were a part of this parish family have many good memories to narrate, which is a treasure in the years to come.
Now we begin a new year 2019. A year full of hope, full of aspirations, desires, goodness and many more things. We want this year to be a memorable one. We have celebrated the NEW YEAR with lot of gaiety and pomp. We welcomed it with desires and prayers so that this year may be a fruitful one. By now we have wished over a thousand people a HAPPY NEW YEAR, through various available means. For one year or just 365 days what are our expectations? What do we do during these 365 days?
We plan many things. We have made so many resolutions that we want to accomplish. But in a few days we will forget these resolutions made and move on as if it is another day.
We bid adieu to the year that has gone by, and analyse the year and evaluate our attitudes and we draw a line that we ought to have done this but we acted differently. Now is the time to say we will do better and try to be better. Why do we evaluate ourselves at the end of the year?
Why don’t we do this exercise on daily basis so that we can be better persons the very next moment?
During this year we have many things to do. We have to accomplish things as we are accountable in all aspects. Primarily we are answerable to God.
Time is precious. God sets time for us. So we have to be righteous at all times. We may lose an opportunity if we do not do as per God’s plan. So let us plan this year in a better way and we will abide by the rule book as ultimately we are God’s creation. God is our Father who will ask us, what we did in this year. We will be better persons who will love others and have a great smile on our faces.
Let this smile be contagious, so that it spreads to others.
