Editorial – June 2019

It’s that time of the year when we tend to be very happy. Happy to be at the beginning again, knowing almost nothing. A new academic year for the Schools, Higher Secondary Schools and the Colleges. To begin something new is always amazing. You have great expectations and so many new chances to excel with new teachers and new friends. We can visualize all the children looking forward to everything new in the coming year and wish them well. This time also coincides with the new posting of priests in various Parishes – new Parish Priest, Asst. Parish Priest, Chaplain, Administrator, etc. In our Parish, our Asst. Parish Priest, Fr. Gregory Cruz, who stands transferred as the Chaplain at Cobravado, Calangute, makes way for our new Asst. Parish Priest, Fr. Arly Movin Menezes. We wish Fr. Arly Movin all the very best and God’s choicest blessings on him to continue his mission in God’s vineyard in Aquem. We welcome him in our Parish and assure him of our prayers and support. We also await the first rains to kick start a fresh lease of life to the plants and grass alike. It is said rain is grace, rain is the sky descending to the earth. It is obvious that without rain, there would be no life. Let’s all pray for a good monsoon season leading to bumper crops which will contribute towards prosperity to one and all.
Until we meet again
