ACTIVITY REPORT (2018-19)

It is with great pride and joy that I present the report of the academic year 2018-19 as we stepped into the second decade since the institution of the school. I quote, “Christians anywhere are called to be a light in the darkness, salt for nourishment of humanity and a leaven of dough”.

It has been and will always continue to be our endeavor to mould our students in a way that brings out the best in every child believing in their uniqueness and their inner talents which had to be tapped and this is exactly what has been our role and we did so through a host of activities.

INAUGURAL MASS: The academic year began with the mass by our Manager Rev. Fr. Andrew Pereira invoking blessings from the Almighty on all the students & Staff for a fruitful and healthy academic year.

TICCAS: Teachers in charge of the catechetical activities play the pivotal role in organizing activities that strengthen and ensure the spiritual growth in our students.

The PTA has instituted 5 more scholarships and enhanced the amount of the earlier scholarships. They also managed to raise funds from the lotteries. The committee stood by us whenever the school needed their support.

SPONSORS: We owe our deep gratitude to those who stepped in and rendered their help in various ways which went a long way in easing the running of the institution. Our special thanks goes to Fr. Gregorio Cruz, Mr. Jesvio Dias and Mr. John Fernandes. We are also indebted to those parents for sponsoring refreshments to the students on various occasions and for making it possible for our students to attend various functions by offering their vehicles. I would like to thank in a very special way those parents who helped us to defray the expenses of the School Annual Day function.

The performance of the students at School Annual Day function spoke of the tremendous dedication and hard work put in by the teachers. We are truly blessed with a bundle of highly qualified, talented and creative teachers who are ready to walk an extra mile to ensure that the best is given to the students and not forgetting the administrative and the support staff who have contributed immensely towards the smooth functioning of the school and of course the cherry on the cake is our Manager Rev. Fr. Andrew Pereira who has maintained cordial relationship with the staff and has been a great mentor. The staff always valued his wisdom and his sense of humor which acted as a lubricant when the stress levels were high.

It is because of the support and cooperation of the parents and well-wishers that we could move on and achieve our goals in moulding the children. Their positive attitude motivates us to offer the best to the students.

I close with a quote, “School is a building that has four walls with tomorrow inside” – Lon Waters
