Ignorance of Scripture is Ignorance of God (St. Jerome)

On 30th October 2022, St. Sebastian Catechetical Association organised ‘Bible Quiz’ for the students of Panchvem, Sovem and Satvem Pustok on the Gospel of Mark, Pastoral Letter and General Knowledge of the Bible. Each class had 3 students participating for the Quiz who were selected based on a Preliminary round which was conducted 2 weeks prior. Fr. Leslie was the Quiz-Master for the day. Tr. Savion helped in making the Power-Point Presentation. The students did very well. The general audience were also made part of the quiz through the spot bible quiz. There was a very good response from the audience too. The parents too were very supportive.

On the same day we had a ‘Colouring Competition’ for the Pre-Communion, Communion and chovtem pustok class students. The pre-communion students had to colour a picture of Jesus with a child. For the Post-Communion students we had organised a Drawing Competition on “Any Parable/Episode in the life of Jesus”. The students drew beautiful drawings. We accept and appreciate their talent. Two students from each class were chosen as winners. The prizes for the same were distributed on the following Sunday. We all grew in the knowledge of Christ.
