The younger generation is a major force in the world today. Youth is a phase in one’s life wherein we quest for identity and meaning, for belonging and for achievement. It’s a journey of intense discovery of oneself and one’s qualities and capabilities.
Mass and daily life are not two different compartments in life but they are a celebration of God’s life entering into our lives. Mass is the devotional point of our Christian life.

Parish Animation Team(PAT) it's task is to plan, co-ordinate and promote the work of S.C.Cs in the parish, to be in touch with the different S.C.Cs and their animators, to learn the difficulties experienced by the S.C.Cs and help solve them
SOCIETY OF ST. VINCENTE DE PAUL
The society was founded in PARIS, in 1833, by Fredic Ozanam and a small group of fellow students. This group set about helping the oppressed and the poor. The essence of society is personal service and commitment. The society was named after St. Vincent De Paul who lived in 1581 - 1660 and whose life was devoted to helping the underprivileged.
The birth of St. Sebastian Sports Club, Aquem, was the culmination of strenuous and energetic efforts put in by Fr. James Torres ē Silva. Under his chairmanship this Club has been formed having a duly elected executive committee headed by an energetic President.
LEGION OF MARY
Mary was so full of charity that she was found worthy to conceive and bring into the world ‘HIM’ who is charity itself.
The Legion is an association of Catholics and is under the powerful leadership of Mary immaculate. They have formed themselves into a legion for service. This is a movement of lay people, who propose to make faith , the aspirations of their lives, up to the achievement of personal sanctity.
The St. Sebastian Cathecatical association was started with the aim of teaching the children of Aquem the word of God, more about their religion ,imbruing in them morales and values and a sense of pride in their Parish. And, as such, there are various groups that cater to different ages- from the pre-communion groups for tiny tots to the junior youth group for young teens. In this cathecatical year 2001, there are 13 catechism groups and 28 catechists.
