Some years ago, a dignitary visited the then Pope. After the visit, he had a discussion with the Pope’s secretary. As the visitor was leaving, the secretary told him, “I love you and I like you”. These words caught my attention as I heard them for the first time. I found them interesting and very meaningful.

I am now retired from service [but preoccupied] and living together with my spouse, who also has retired from service and is engaged in activities that are also social. I have the time now to ponder and reflect on those valuable words, although they were not said by a husband or a wife. Read more

The Angel of the Lord declared unto Mary.
R. And she conceived by the Holy Spirit.

The story of the Annunciation unfolded when Angel Gabriel appeared to Mary to announce that she was chosen to be the mother of Jesus Christ, the Son of God (Luke 1:26-38). The depiction of this encounter is beautifully captured in the Catholic prayer Angelus where Mary in all her humility and deep trust in God accepts the mission laid out for her. GUIDELINES FROM GOD
The New Year 2019 is already one-month old. As usual a majority of the resolutions made, must be dumped on the wayside, to be picked up only when another New Year comes by. I believe that if we follow God, our heavenly Father’s guidelines which He has given us, there would be no need of any resolutions. These guidelines are provided to us in the Bible – read it and you will find them. I will highlight ten guidelines which if followed, will remind us of God’s love every day. Read more

Family Day gives a chance to the family members as well as the members of the families of a Parish, to celebrate the meaning of being a family and to spend quality time with each other by participating in fun activities together.

Exodus 20:12 Honour your father and mother so that you may live long in the land the lord your God is giving you.
The visit to the Old Age Home in Benaulim on 23rd December 2018, was one of the most memorable celebration and preparation before Christmas day. On the 23rd December, we the confirmation students visited the Home for the aged. There was singing in the bus till we finally reached our destination. Read more

In our Parish, the First Holy Communion was held on Sunday, 13th Jan ’19. 18 children received Jesus for the first time into their hearts. The Eucharistic celebration at 8:45 am, was celebrated by our Parish Priest Fr. Andrew Pereira and Asst. Parish Priest Fr. Gregory Cruz. The theme for the mass was “Jezuk Kallzant Gheum-ia, Mogachim Bhurgim Zaum-ia”. Read more
